The Floripondio farm, named after a nearby town and the local Floripondio tree, is part of a group of 12 farms owned by the Rodriguez family in the Caranavi and Samaipata regions of Bolivia. This farm is home to the largest coffee variety garden in Bolivia, with more than 60 planted varieties from around the world. The Rodriguez family, through their "Sol de la Mañana" (Morning Sun) mentorship program, helps hundreds of small producers while experimenting with specialty coffee cultivation in the Samaipata region, an area that was not traditionally known for coffee production.
